Technical Support Engineer (Hindi Speaking)

Role Overview

We are looking for a patient and technically skilled Support Engineer to assist our clients across North and Central India.

As the voice of Ambar ERP, you will solve technical issues for textile wholesalers and retailers. Many of our clients are business owners who prefer communicating in Hindi, so fluency in the language is mandatory. You will not just be answering calls; you will be remotely installing software, configuring hardware (printers/scanners), and running SQL queries to resolve data discrepancies.


Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Support (Voice & Remote)

  • Handle Inbound Queries: Act as the primary point of contact for Hindi-speaking clients facing technical issues.
  • Remote Troubleshooting: Use tools like AnyDesk or TeamViewer to access client systems and fix installation errors, printer driver issues, or software bugs.
  • Training: Explain complex ERP features (like "Batch Management" or "GSTR Reporting") to non-technical users in simple, clear Hindi.

2. Technical Diagnostics

  • Hardware Configuration: Assist clients in setting up Barcode Printers (TSC, Zebra, etc.) and Barcode Scanners ensuring they integrate perfectly with Ambar ERP.
  • Bug Reporting: Reproduce errors reported by clients and document them clearly for the development team (Laravel/PHP team) to fix.

3. Implementation

  • Assist in the onboarding of new clients by guiding them through the data import process (e.g., uploading their stock list via Excel).

Requirements

Mandatory (Non-Negotiable)

  • Language Proficiency: Fluent Spoken Hindi is a must. You must be able to hold professional, technical conversations in Hindi.
  • Technical Basics: Good knowledge of Windows OS (7/10/11), Driver Installations, and basic Networking.
  • Communication: Ability to explain technical terms to non-technical shop owners with patience.

Preferred (Bonus)

  • Knowledge of Tamil or English (for internal office communication in Coimbatore).
  • Prior experience supporting ERP, POS, or Accounting Software.
  • Experience in the Retail/Textile domain.
