Role Overview

We are seeking a sharp, code-savvy Laravel Developer Intern to join our technology team in Coimbatore.

This position focuses on modern web development practices. You will be actively contributing to Ambar ERP, helping us build scalable modules, robust APIs, and clean, maintainable code using the Laravel framework. If you are passionate about clean syntax, Eloquent ORM, and the MVC pattern, and are ready for a challenging, real-world project, this opportunity is for you.


What You Will Do (Responsibilities)

  • MVC Development: Build and maintain ERP modules using Laravel’s Model-View-Controller architecture.
  • Database Logic: Utilize Eloquent ORM to define relationships and write efficient database queries for inventory, sales, and client management features.
  • API Development: Assist in building and consuming RESTful APIs to support mobile applications or third-party integrations (e.g., E-commerce platforms).
  • Front-End Integration: Design and update front-end views using the Blade templating engine.
  • Code Quality: Participate in code reviews, fix bugs, and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.


What We Are Looking For

Mandatory Skills

  • Laravel Basics: Understanding of Routing, Middleware, Controllers, and Views. You should know how to set up a Laravel project.
  • PHP Proficiency: Strong grasp of modern PHP (v8.0+) features and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
  • Database Skills: Knowledge of database design, migrations, and Eloquent model usage (MySQL).
  • Git/Version Control: Proficiency in using Git (commit, push, pull, branching) for collaborative development.

Bonus Points (High Priority)

  • Experience with front-end frameworks/libraries like Vue.js or Livewire.
  • Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker.
  • Understanding of design patterns and software testing principles.
