Inside Sales Executive (SaaS / ERP)

Role Summary

We are looking for an articulate and persuasive Inside Sales Executive to drive the growth of Ambar ERP from our office.

In this role, you will be the first point of contact for leads coming from our marketing campaigns (Facebook/Google Ads) and will also proactively reach out to textile businesses across the country. Your goal is to convert interested store owners into paid subscribers by conducting convincing online demos and managing the sales process digitally.


Key Responsibilities

1. Inbound Lead Management

  • Rapidly respond to leads generated via our website, Facebook ads, and Indiamart within 1 hour.
  • Qualify leads by asking the right questions (e.g., "Do you sell retail or wholesale?", "How many billing counters do you have?").
  • Filter out low-quality leads and focus time on serious buyers.

2. Remote Demos & Consultations

  • Conduct high-impact product demonstrations via Zoom, Google Meet, or AnyDesk.
  • Guide non-technical shop owners on how to join online meetings or install screen-sharing software.
  • Showcase specific features relevant to the prospect (e.g., showing a Saree retailer how 'Barcode Printing' works, or showing a Wholesaler how 'Credit Management' works).

3. Outbound Prospecting (Cold Calling)

  • Call databases of textile associations and shop listings to generate new interest.
  • Re-engage "cold" leads or past trials who didn’t buy earlier.

4. Closing & CRM Management

  • Manage the entire sales cycle for Small & Medium Business (SMB) clients from "Hello" to "Payment Received."
  • Maintain accurate notes in our CRM (e.g., HubSpot/Zoho/Excel) so no follow-up is missed.
  • Coordinate with the technical team to ensure the software is installed remotely after payment.

What We Are Looking For

Essential Skills

  • Exceptional Communication: You have a clear, confident phone voice and can explain complex software in simple language (English + [Regional Language]).
  • Tech Comfort: You are very comfortable using Zoom, Google Meet, CRM tools, and can troubleshoot basic computer issues for clients during a demo.
  • Patience: You are capable of explaining technology to traditional business owners who may not be very tech-savvy.
  • Resilience: You don’t get discouraged by "No" or people hanging up during cold calls.

Experience

  • 1+ years of experience in Telesales, Inside Sales, or Customer Support.
  • Experience selling Software/SaaS, Insurance, or Banking products is a plus.
  • Prior exposure to the Textile/Retail industry is a massive advantage.
